About the Role:

As a Senior Programme and Source Mobilization Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at securing funding and resources to support our organization's programs. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong background in program management and resource mobilization.


Key Responsibilities:

- Programme Development and Management:

  - Lead the design, planning, and implementation of programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

  - Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of program activities to ensure they meet targets and deliverables.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate programmatic initiatives and enhance overall impact.


- Resource Mobilization:

  - Develop and implement comprehensive resource mobilization strategies to secure funding from diverse sources, including government agencies, international donors, private sector, and foundations.

  - Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, partnerships, and sponsorships.

  - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, donors, and partners to enhance resource mobilization efforts.


- Proposal Development:

  - Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals, concept notes, and grant applications.

  - Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and develop compelling narratives that align with donor requirements.

  - Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow up with donors to address any queries.


- Financial Management:

  - Oversee budget development and financial planning for programs.

  - Monitor program expenditures and ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.

  - Prepare financial reports and ensure accurate documentation of funding received and utilized.


- Reporting and Documentation:

  - Prepare and submit regular progress reports to donors, management, and other stakeholders.

  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all resource mobilization activities and program outcomes.

  - Document best practices and lessons learned to inform future program design and implementation.


- Capacity Building:

  - Provide training and support to staff on resource mobilization, proposal development, and program management.

  - Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.


Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- Minimum of [X] years of experience in program management and resource mobilization, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector.

- Proven track record of successfully securing funding from diverse sources.
